Getting to know your Maskº 2.0

We’ve assembled this guide with step-by-step instructions to explain size adjustment, filter insertion and washing instructions for your Ministry of Supply Masksº.

How to insert filters into your Maskº

The polypropylene filters included add an extra layer of filtration to the Maskº.

Separating and folding the filters: Filter packs are shipped in two sets of 5 units lightly bound together; filters should be separated and individually used for intended breathability.

  1. Wash hands before handling new filters and after handling used filters.

  2. Pinch one layer of the filter packet and peel a single filter away.

  3. Hold the filter in the orientation shown in the graphic below - this will ensure the filter is right-side up. Push the upper and lower triangle darts inwards slightly at the center to form a natural crease. Your filter is now ready for insertion.

Inserting the filters: Filters should be replaced after 8 hours of cumulative use, and removed prior to a wash cycle. Follow the instructions below for your specific Mask°.

Adjusting your Maskº

A proper fit is critical for both the effectiveness of your Maskº and your comfort. A good fit and well-adjusted nose piece creates a close seal around your nose and cheek bones.

Adjusting the nose bridge: The nose clip can be adjusted by gently pressing down the metal band around your nose to create a comfortable seal.

Washing your Maskº

Your Maskº should be washed regularly. We suggest washing and changing your filter after every eight hours of cumulative use.

Care Instructions: We recommend washing on the hot cycle in the washing machine. For 3D Print-Knit Mask° 2.0, lay flat to dry; for Apollo Mask°, tumble dry on low. Do not use bleach.
